TOGETHER WE STAND

Promoting adherence in end-stage renal disease through
a family-based self-management intervention.

HEMODIALYSIS TREATMENTS

Hemodialysis is a strict and demanding treatment, involving several changes in the lives of patients and families.
Non-adherence rates are high and represent one of the leading public health problems in the world.

FAMILY SUPPORT

Families play a crucial role in disease management. Family members motivate
and encourage patients to adhere to treatments and deal with everyday problems.

  • PATIENTS AND FAMILIES FEEDBACK

(…) I thought it was so beautiful...

Even though we only met in (online) sessions, no one had any problems sharing.”

  • PATIENTS AND FAMILIES FEEDBACK

“I really liked and was impressed by the psychologists, the way they explained things to us and asked us questions.

Feeling like that human is dedicated to us…

I think we also had the feeling that we are all in this together, it's not just our problem.”
